SharePoint Products and Technologies Templates: Web Part Templates for Visual Studio .NET |
Use these templates to create Web Part libraries containing Web Parts and Tool Parts for Windows SharePoint Services.
Web Part developers can use Microsoft Visual Studio .NET to build Web Part assemblies for use in Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies. These templates are provided to help developers create Web Parts. The templates are similar to the default server control file and project templates included with Visual Studio .NET.

System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003
- Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
To create a Web Part assembly, you must meet the following minimum
requirements:
- Access to the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services assembly
- Sufficient permissions to install the template package and create Visual Studio projects
- Meet all the requirements for Visual Studio .NET
Installation Instructions
- Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the WebPartTemplatesforVSNetSample2.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
To install the sample files, double-click the Setup.Exe file in your installation directory. View the ReadMe.doc file for specific instructions on how to use the templates.
