This time-limited release of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Datacenter Edition with Service Pack 2 (SP2) for 64-bit x64 processors will expire 180 days after installation. If you decide to discontinue the use of this software, you will need to reinstall your original operating system. You may need to reformat your drive.

To use Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 R2 Datacenter Edition x64 with Service Pack 2, you need:
•Computer with 733 MHz or higher processor clock speed required; Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible 64-bit processors (Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition supports two to sixty-four CPUs on one server)
•1 GB of RAM or higher recommended; 512 MB minimum required (maximum 2 TB of RAM)
•1.5 to 2 GB of available hard-disk space*
•CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
•Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher-resolution monitor recommended; VGA or hardware that supports console redirection required
•Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device, or hardware that supports console redirection
Installation Instructions
Datacenter Edition evaluation is available as an image file that you can use to burn your own CD.
Step 1: Click one of the following links to download the file you want. View the Readme file by selecting the link later on this page.
Step 2 - Using the image file (.ISO): Using your CD-burning software, select the options to burn a CD from an .ISO image. When you are prompted for a file to use, select the image file that you downloaded. After burning the CD, locate and double-click Setup.exe on the CD to begin the installation.
Step 3: Follow the installation instructions provided in the Readme.
