Legacy Update: Get back online, activate, and install updates on your legacy Windows PC

This download includes Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual C# code snippets for use when customizing Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, and Microsoft Office Word 2007. Download and install these snippets to your Visual Studio code snippet folder and use them with the Visual Studio Code Snippets Manager.

This download contains two files:

• 2007OfficeRibbonSnippetsVB.msi. Microsoft Visual Basic code snippets.
• 2007OfficeRibbonSnippetsCS.msi. Microsoft Visual C# code snippets.

1. Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
2. Double-click the 2007OfficeRibbonSnippetsVB.msi file -OR- 2007OfficeRibbonSnippetsCS.msi file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Once you have installed this download, use Visual Studio as you normally would. These snippets should now be available in the Visual Studio Code Snippet Manager.

Remove of this download:

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. In the list of currently installed programs, select program name here and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
