The Error Lookup Tool, also known as "ERR", is a command-line tool to decode many Microsoft error codes. It does not require elevation and is very easy to use.
- The Error Lookup Tool looks up constants in all known Windows products error headers through a large set of tables built into the tool at compile time. Run the app with no arguments for command line help and a list of header files currently indexed.

- The Error Lookup tool runs on any supported Windows operating system. There is one version availble for download, which runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows:- Err_6.4.5.exe
Installation Instructions
- 1. Download the compressed package for the appropriate operating system2. Extract the contents to any folder of your choosing.NOTE: If you extract the application to a folder in either the user or system path, you can subsequently run the tool without having to change directory.
