This sample illustrates how to display presence status and provide real-time collaboration options in Web pages using the interfaces provided by the 2007 Microsoft Unified Communications Client AJAX API.
This sample shows how to use the interfaces provided by the 2007 Microsoft Unified Communications Client AJAX API to display presence status and provide real-time collaboration options in Web pages. The sample does not depend on any desktop components and while the sample is implemented using ASP.NET pages and controls, the same functionality can be used in any Web page that supports JScript and HTML.

Installation Instructions
- Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the downloaded program file on your hard disk to begin installation.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
To uninstall this download
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Presence Sample for Web Based Applications using the Unified Communications AJAX API and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
