Visio 2003 Service Pack 2 for Multilingual User Interface Pack ensures that Visio 2003 performs with complete functionality when you use a Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack. Some of the fixes included with Service Pack 2 (SP2) have been previously released as separate updates. This service pack combines them into one update.

This service pack also includes all updates previously released for Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack:

• Visio 2003 Multilingual User Pack Service Pack 1
• Update for Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack French Spelling Checker and Thesaurus: KB892293

Visio 2003 SP2 for Multilingual User Interface Pack will install even if a publicly available update or service pack has already been installed on your computer.

Important For complete Visio 2003 SP2 functionality if you are using a Visio 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack, you will need to install both this download and the English version of the Visio 2003 Service Pack 2.

Installation instructions
To install this update, do one of the following:

• Use the Microsoft® Update or Office Update detection Web sites (recommended). Both sites automatically detect Microsoft Office Visio® and prompt you to install updates and service packs that bring Office programs up to date.



• Install only Visio 2003 Service Pack 2 for Multilingual User Interface Pack. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Download the .exe file by using the button at the top of the page, and then save the file to your hard disk drive.


2. It is recommended that you quit any programs you are running.


3. In Windows Explorer, double-click the .exe file that you saved to your hard disk drive, and follow the instructions on the screen.

There is no uninstall feature for this download. For more information, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article (873125): You cannot remove Service Pack 2 for Office 2003 products.
