Language packs enable the use of multiple languages without requiring separate installations of Microsoft Search Server 2008.
- Language packs enable the use of multiple languages without requiring separate installations of Microsoft Search Server 2008. Multiple language packs can be installed on the same server. Application of a Language Pack will not change the language of the installed server product SKU, or the language of the administrative features.
Notes:- You do not need to download a language pack for the language you installed, these language packs are to support creation of additional languages
- If you use the language packs with a fully licensed copy of Microsoft Search Server 2008 please ensure that you do so within the terms of your Volume Licensing Agreement, as restrictions may apply. Learn more about Microsoft Volume Licensing programs.

Installation Instructions
- To install this download:
- Save the executable file to your computer and run it. It will expand and launch the Microsoft Search Server 2008 Language Pack splash screen.
- From the splash screen, you can follow the link read the installation instructions.
Instructions for use:- Microsoft Search Server 2008 Language Pack contains user assistance content which can be accessed by clicking the help links on any admin page. On the Search Administration homepage, there are direct links to help topics for common tasks.
- Additional online documentation can be accessed on the Microsoft TechNet site for Microsoft Search Server 2008.
For further information about Microsoft Search Server 2008, including links to online forums and bug reporting, visit the product website.- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Search Server 2008 Language Pack and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
