Visio 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP2) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Visio 2002. SP2 contains significant security enhancements as well as stability and performance improvements.

Visio 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP2) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Visio 2002. SP2 contains significant security enhancements as well as stability and performance improvements. This service pack applies to any level of Visio 2002. It contains all updates included in SR1, in addition to updates released after SR1.

Visio 2002 SP2 addresses the issue described in the following Microsoft Security Bulletin:

Visio 2002 SP2 will install successfully even if one or more of the publicly available updates listed above has already been installed on your computer.
Visio 2002 SP2 also includes stability improvements developed as a result of user input from the Error Reporting Tool in Visio 2002 and from Microsoft Product Support feedback.

- To install this update, you must have one of the following:
- Visio Standard 2002
- Visio Professional 2002
- Visio for Enterprise Architects 2002
- Visio for Biztalk Server 2002
- Microsoft Windows Installer version 2.0 or later. Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 and Microsoft Windows XP include this version of the Windows Installer. Otherwise, the latest version of Windows Installer is available as a separate download at the following links:
Installation Instructions
- Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the Visio2002-KB830242-FullFile-ENU.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
