Microsoft Equipt 1.0 CD Error 0x2045101B Hotfix for Windows XP and Windows Vista |
This Hotfix is for the Microsoft Equipt CD (media) error 0x2045101B.
This patch will resolve the Equipt error "0x2045101B" and "Installation error - corrupt media." The Equipt CD must be in the drive to install the patch.

System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista
Processor speed: "1 GHz or faster processor, 32-bit or 64-bit processor, (2 GHz or faster process recommended)

Installation Instructions
1) Make sure Equipt CD is in CD/DVD drive
2) Download EquiptSelfHealTool.exe
3) To launch, double click EquiptSelfHealTool.exe
4) A dialog will say this will take approx. 20 min

5) The first copy process will fail so once the error comes up that it has failed to copy you will see a FixEquipt folder on the desktop. Open the folder and run the FixEquiptDIMG.exe file and it should complete successfully.
6) When file copying/fixing is completed, dialog will say fix is complete
7) Click the Start button then click My Computer for Windows XP or Computer for Vista
8) Click on the CD drive then double click setup.exe
9) Choose “Continue Installation” when Valuebox screen appears
10) Allow installation to complete and restart as instructed
