This management pack manages the File Replication Service.

This management pack was originally released on November 17, 2003.

The File Replication Service (FRS) Management Pack for MOM monitors and collects FRS information from an Ultrasound database at regular intervals. It also reports health data for replica sets, members, and connections while diagnosing problems with the Ultrasound controller service. With embedded expertise, this management pack allows you to react to costly service outages.

Installation Instructions

To Download the Management Pack
  1. Click the link to the right, and then download the MOM Management Pack for FRS.

  2. On the Microsoft Operations Manager server (DCAM), click the executable file to extract the files into a temporary directory.


To Import the Management Pack

You can import this management pack module using the Microsoft Operations Manager administrative console and following these steps:

  1. Open the Microsoft Operations Manager Administrative MMC applet.

  2. Expand the Microsoft Operations Manager (Default) node.

  3. Expand the Rules node.

  4. Select the Processing Rule Groups node.

  5. Right-click the Processing Rule Groups node, and then select the Import Management Pack option.
