  Update KB3016437 is only applicable to Windows Server 2012 R2 Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) role enabled. If you attempt to install KB3016437 to a Windows Client or a Windows Server where AD DS role is not turned on, the update will fail to install, with no adverse effect other than reporting an update installation failure.
