This Service Pack contains updates for the .NET Micro Framework Porting Kit version 3.0.

This Service Pack installs on top of an existing installation of the Micro Framework Porting Kit 3.0 and fixes several issues with sample code, PAL source code, the Solution Wizard tool, and the CLR. See the Release Notes for more details on what is new in this Service Pack.

This Service Pack works with the original 3.0 version of the .NET Micro Framework SDK; there is no SP1 release.

Installation Instructions

  1. Install the 3.0 Porting Kit (if not already installed).
  2. Make backup copies of any changes you have made to the files shipped in the Porting Kit (e.g. modifications to sample drivers).
  3. Download the Service Pack from this page.
  4. Run MicroFrameworkPKSP1.MSI.

After installing this Service Pack, you should do a clean rebuild of all of your Porting Kit projects. See the Release Notes for more information.
