System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows 7
Recommended Hardware Configuration:To install and use Windows Embedded POSReady 7 on your POS System, the following specifications are recommended:
- 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
For 32-bit systems:
- 1 GB RAM
- 16 GB available hard disk space
For 64-bit systems:
- 2 GB RAM
- 20 GB available hard disk space
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or later version driver
- Vootable DVD drive
Additional available hard disk space may be required if you are installing over a network.Actual requirements will vary based on the system configuration and the applications and features that you choose to install.
Installation Instructions
Windows Embedded POSReady 7 Evaluation consists of four DVD5 images (ISO's), two each for 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. 32-bit

64-bit
- Windows_Embedded_POSReady7_64bit_EVAL.iso
- Windows_Embedded_POSReady7_64bit_LangPack.iso
The .iso files have been archived and split into smaller files to improve the download experience. Download the .exe and .rar files for each architecture into its own folder and run the .exe file in that folder to reconstiture the .iso files. Once the .iso files are created you can then burn the ISOs on to a blank DVDs.Additional instructions can be found in the POSReady7.chm file located in the POSReady 7 Users Guide folder on the EVAL DVD.
