AD Connector hotfix for System Center Service Manager 2010 SP1 (KB2561415) |
This update contains an AD Connector fix for the Service Manager 2010 SP1 CU2.
This hotfix contains a single bug fix for the AD Connector in System Center Service Manager 2010 SP1 CU2.
There is one executable file available:
1. SCSM2010SP1_OD_KB2561415_AMD64_7.0.6555.118.exe
This executable contains the hotfix which updates the following dlls and adds a new stored procedure as follows:
Updated dlls
- Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceManager.Connector.AD.dll, version 7.0.6555.118
- Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceManager.Connector.SessionManager.dll, version 7.0.6555.118
New Stored Procedure
- resetwatermarkfordatasource.sql

Bug fixed by this hotfix:
In this scenario, an organization has multiple active directory domain controllers (DC) that replicate with one another. The Active Directory Connector may not function correctly when DC switchover occurs. In this scenario, the connector can potentially miss some updates that are made in the new DC.
Additionally, the connector may have the same problem for a single domain controller if it is restored from backup.
