System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
- CAPICOM is also supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Windows 98 requires Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or better.
CAPICOM is excluded from the Windows SDK beginning with the Windows SDK for Windows 7, and although the distributable will run on 32-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems, its use is not recommended. For more information, see Alternatives to Using CAPICOM.
Installation Instructions
- 1. Download the file by clicking on the "Download" button.
2. Select "Save” and specify a directory on your local disk.
3. Install the package by running the self-extracting executable file. This will create a directory structure containing the redistributable and samples.
