The clinic redeployed its four servers using Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2003 for its network firewall and remote access, and Windows SharePoint Server for document sharing.
Tomorrow’s Child Learning Center is a clinic for special needs children newborn to age 5 who have been diagnosed with early delay issues such as spina bifida, Down syndrome and autism. Nearly 20 specialists in various fields work with the children daily. The objective is to eventually mainstream each child back into a traditional school environment. Tomorrow’s Child was overwhelmed with the volume of paperwork required for each child and the overall operation. The clinic won a technology makeover from Microsoft Corp. and Dell that has changed the fundamental way it operates.
