The Microsoft Surface Photos 1.0 SP1 application enables you to show content (photos and videos) to users on a Microsoft Surface unit, including default content or your own content. You can also sort your content by category. If the media card reader is set up and enabled, users can also view their own content.For more information, see the Photos article.

1. On a Microsoft Surface unit that is running Microsoft Surface 1.0 SP1, download the Photos Setup package.
2. Double-click the SurfacePhotos.exe file, and then extract all of the installation files to a folder that you specify.
3. Double-click the SurfacePhotos.msi file and then follow the on-screen instructions in the Photos Setup wizard.

If you have a previous version of Photos from the Microsoft Surface Application Suite, you must uninstall the Application Suite before you install Photos 1.0 SP1.
