This download is an accompaniment to the Microsoft Captions Language Interface Pack (CLIP) in the event that your operating system does not provide a Microsoft CLIP code culture.
- This download is an accompaniment to the Microsoft Captions Language Interface Pack (CLIP) in the event that your operating system does not provide a Microsoft CLIP code culture. Code cultures contain information such as time & date formats, the default currency symbol, preferred keyboard types etc.
Note: there is no need to install this code culture unless you were prompted to do so during the installation of Microsoft CLIP.

Please read the following very carefully.
To install a CLIP code culture:
Note: To install this code culture you need to be an Administrator (someone with elevated security permissions). If you are a home user, a small business, or similar, or if you have previously installed your own software, you are probably already an Administrator. If you are on a corporate network or working for a large organization it is unlikely you are an Administrator.- Log on to your machine as Administrator.
- Select the code culture and download.
- Follow the installation instructions.
- When you click Finish the installation will be complete.
- If you have problems, call your Administrator for more assistance.
Note: It is important that the installation of Microsoft CLIP is done by the User and not by an Administrator, as Microsoft CLIP sets up a personal database for each user.- Log off your PC as Administrator.
- Log on again using your own login credentials.
- Re-install Microsoft CLIP.
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Captions Language Interface Pack Code Cultures Install and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
