The Internet Archive is currently experiencing extended downtime due to a denial of service attack and security incident. We’ve temporarily switched Wayback Machine links to a mirror generously hosted by Ali, a member of the Windows Update Restored community. You can verify authenticity of files you download by looking for a digital signature from Microsoft Corporation in the file’s Properties dialog, or by confirming that SHA1 hashes match those we list below. You can check file hashes using 7-Zip or HashCheck. Some links may lead to a 404 page at this time. |

Access 2010: Sample Access Database for Streamline Reporting |
This download provides a sample data set to show how to automate a recurring import of data into a Microsoft Access 2010 database.
- Microsoft Access 2010 can be useful when you need to manage a large stream of data. Using Access, you can make the data easier to analyze, store, and summarize in reports. You can also use queries and macros to automate parts of the process, saving you time and helping to prevent errors when it is time for another set of reports.
This download uses a sample data set to show how you might create a database using shared business data, automate importing the data, and create and distribute reports to people who need a summary understanding of the data.
Note: This database supports the scenario described in the following article on Office.com: Streamline reporting on shared business data by using queries and macros
