Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Data Migration Pack |
Tools for migrating data to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
The Data Migration Pack includes two tools for migrating data to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0:
- Data Migration Wizard for Microsoft Office Outlook with Business Contact Manager, for migrating data from Outlook with Business Contact Manager to Microsoft CRM 3.0.
- Data Migration Framework, for migrating data from any data source to Microsoft CRM 3.0.
Both tools are installed on the Microsoft CRM server, and must be run by a user with the Microsoft CRM System Administrator security role. The English version of this tool can be used with localized versions of Microsoft CRM.
The Data Migration Pack is not supported for use with hosted Microsoft CRM, or with Chinese and Japanese versions of Microsoft CRM.

Installation Instructions
- On your Microsoft CRM server, click MicrosoftCRM3.0_DataMigration.exe, and then click Run.
-OR-
Click MicrosoftCRM3.0_DataMigration.exe, click Save, and save the file. From your Microsoft CRM server, double-click the saved file. - Specify a directory for the extracted files, and then click OK.
- In the Extraction Complete dialog box, click OK.
- Open the folder you specified in step 2.
- Double-click the dmfreadme.htm file.
- To install the Data Migration Pack, follow the step-by-step instructions in the Readme file.
