Note   By installing expanded Help files you replace the original versions of the files. If you decide to revert to the original files, this page provides instructions. Be sure you have access to the CD or network location originally used to install Microsoft Office XP.

To install this download

1. You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
2. Download the file from the Microsoft Office Tools on the Web site by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
3. Double-click the Mscexhelp.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
4. Click Yes to install.
5. Click Yes or No to accept or decline the license agreement.
   Note   Clicking No will cause the installation to stop.
6. Browse to \\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033, and then click OK.
7. Click Yes to all, when asked if you would like to overwrite files.
8. Click OK.

Restart your computer and use the Microsoft Document Imaging, Microsoft Office XP Small Business, or Microsoft SharePoint Team Services online Help as you usually would.

To remove this download and restore the original Help files

1. Right-click Start, and then click Explore.
2. Browse to \\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033, and then press and hold down CTRL and click: msphelp.chm, OWSHLP10.chm, and SBCMHELP.chm.
3. On the File menu, click Delete, click Yes, and then click Yes to all.
4. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
5. Double-click Add/Remove Programs, click Microsoft Office XP, and then click Change.
   Note this will require access to the CD or network location originally used to install Office XP.
6. In the Microsoft Office XP Setup, select Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
7. Click the plus sign next to Microsoft Office, click the plus sign next to Office Tools, click Microsoft Document Imaging, click Run from My Computer, and then click Update.
