Unable to discover computers in AD after upgrading to .NET Framework 2.0

When upgrading to .NET Framework 2.0 MOM is unable to discover computers in AD and creates an exception like “…Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection..”
MOM is unable to discover Computers in AD. When the uninstall delay has passed, Computers are either added to the pending uninstall list or automatically uninstalled.
