Update for GroupBoard Workspace 2007 (KB941678) |
SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard does not finish successfully after you install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Services Packs if GroupBoard Workspace 2007 is installed. This update resolves that issue.

System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Enterprise Edition (32-bit x86), Standard Edition (32-bit x86)
- This update applies to the following product: Microsoft GroupBoard Workspace 2007.
- To install the update, you must have the following:
- Supported Windows Installer Version: Windows Installer 3.1 or greater
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 includes Windows Installer 3.1. Windows Installer 3.1 is also available as a separate download at the following location:
Installation Instructions
- Download the .exe file by clicking on the Download button at the top of the page, and then save the file to your hard disk drive.
- GB4-KB941678-x86-eng.exe: You might need to provide the installation source during patch installation if you have previously updated your product.
- It is recommended that you quit any programs you are running.
- In Windows Explorer, double-click the .exe file that you saved to your hard disk drive, and follow the instructions on the screen to extract the patch files (MSP files)
- In Windows Explorer, double-click the MSP file that you extracted
from .exe file, and follow the instructions on the screen.
: If "SITEURL" install option was used when installing GroupBoard Workspace 2007 on your server, you need to install the .msp file from the command line as follows:
msiexec.exe /update gbw.msp SITEURL=http://Server:Port/
