Based in Plano, Texas, CROSSMARK serves some of the biggest names in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. It assists CPG manufacturers in making sure that products are in stock, properly displayed, and priced correctly.
As CROSSMARK planned for its biweekly feeds into its data warehouse to grow to 4 billion rows, it needed a robust extract, transform, and load (ETL) solution and a powerful reporting environment.
CROSSMARK upgraded its data warehouse using Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005 running on Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 Enterprise Edition. The solution uses SQL Server 2005 Integration Services for ETL and SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services.
