This update applies to 64-bit versions of SharePoint Server. If you are using a 32-bit version, do not install this update. Instead, install:

• The 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Service Pack 1 (SP1) is currently installed.
• The 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Service Pack 1 (SP1) is not currently installed.

• Supported Windows Installer Version: Windows Installer 3.1 or greater


• Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 includes Windows Installer 3.1. Windows Installer 3.1 is also available as a separate download at the following location:


• Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2)

The installation of updates to the 2007 Microsoft Office servers involves a series of steps which must be completed in the correct sequence for the installation to be successful.
