Included in this paper are recommendations for deploying SharePoint Products and Technologies across multiple geographic sites (based on the three supported solutions), statistics for estimating SharePoint Products and Technologies bandwidth utilization and the resulting user experience across a WAN, and information on configuring settings such as search crawls to optimize bandwidth utilization and the user experience. Finally, this paper describes the test environment and methodology that was used to develop these recommendations.
