MessagePack 2005 is an update to BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 which updates existing message support to the latest SWIFT specification and provides additional messages to extend the range of applicable financial services scenarios.

• Microsoft® BizTalk® Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 is an add-on product built with the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 , the latest version of BizTalk Server. BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT works in conjunction with Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 to leverage the open standards-based tools and run-time facilities of BizTalk Server to implement support for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) message formats. BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 includes all the document specifications and components that you need to rapidly develop and deploy applications for processing the full range of financial services-specific transactions.
  
  SWIFT messaging standards (Standards Release Guide and Message Format Validation Rules) are updated on a yearly basis. MessagePack 2005 is an update to BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT that updates existing message support to the latest SWIFT specification, and provides additional messages to extend the range of applicable financial services scenarios.
  
  MessagePack 2005 is a Web-downloadable QFE patch to BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0. BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 is required in order to use this MessagePack 2005 update.
  
  BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT MessagePack 2005 has implemented the final 2005 SWIFT Standards Release Guide (SRG) and Message Format Validation Rules (MFVR). Legacy messages that have been removed from SRG 2005 by SWIFT but are still supported in this MessagePack conform to the most recent SRG in which they were included (prior to SRG 2005).
  
  Installation_Guide.htm contains the complete list of updated messages and additional messages supported in A4SWIFT 2.0 MessagePack 2005.
  
  BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT MessagePack 2005 is an update to BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 and is not a standalone product. Therefore, once installed, product support for MessagePack 2005 will be covered by existing BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 support agreement(s).

• BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT MessagePack 2005 is supported on the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 4 (SP4) (recommended), Microsoft Windows XP, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating systems.
  
  BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT MessagePack 2005 is an update to be applied to BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0. You must install BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT(Standard or Enterprise Edition) before applying MessagePack 2005. MessagePack 2005 does not require any additional hardware or software applications other than those required by BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0.

• Before you start the installation process of Microsoft® BizTalk® Accelerator for SWIFT MessagePack 2005, it is highly recommend that you read the installation instructions and Readme file located at the bottom of this page. The Installation Guide contains step-by-step instructions on the installation process to ensure successful update of your BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.0 installation.
