BizTalk 2006 R2 Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) v3.0 Service Pack 1 |
The BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 3.0 Service Pack 1 and BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 support SWIFTReady Financial EAI GOLD Certification requirements for 2007, including processing support for SWIFT XML-formatted messages (“MX”) and support for SWIFT Alliance Access and SWIFTAlliance Gateway version 6.0, which are products of S.W.I.F.T. SCRL.
- Microsoft® BizTalk® Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) 3.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) leverages the open standards-based tools and run-time facilities of BizTalk Server 2006 R2 to support MX-based messages (ISO20022 XML-based messages) to comply with SWIFTReady Financial EAI GOLD Certification requirements for 2007.
The added functionality with this service pack makes it easier for businesses to adopt BizTalk Server 2006 R2 as a middleware integration platform. With A4SWIFT 3.0 SP1, customers, partners, and system integrators can streamline development, deployment, and support of integrated solutions for application infrastructure and business processes for core financial services.
You can use A4SWIFT 3.0 SP1 components to implement SWIFT-centric middleware solutions that facilitate trading partner relationships, enterprise application integration (EAI), and application and business workflow automation. These components include:
• SWIFT MX message schemas: You can use XML schema definition language (XSD)-compliant schemas to facilitate the parsing and XML validation of messages against the message-specific schemas.
• SWIFT validation policies and framework: You can use BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Business Rule Engine (BRE) policies to validate and enforce SWIFT-defined data and validation rules. The SWIFT MX Disassembler and .NET validation component (BRE Validator) invoke the BRE. Validation errors are collected into error-collection objects and erroneous messages are marked with special promoted properties before being published to the BizTalk MessageBox database.
• SWIFT pipeline components: You can use the BizTalk Pipeline Disassembler, Assembler, Encoder, Decoder, and Party Resolver components to process SWIFT MX messages. The SWIFT MX Disassembler dynamically resolves SWIFT message types and validates messages against SWIFT validation rules. The SWIFT MX Assembler does the normal collection of the messages from the MessageBox database and checks for any validation errors.
• .NET validation component (BRE validation component): The .NET assembly is responsible for performing the business rules validation on the messages by invoking the message-specific policies, which in turn invoke the rules (implemented in C#.NET) and return the error collection object.
• MX Response Reconciliation: MX Response Reconciliation is responsible for reconciling a response with the message originally sent by A4SWIFT, enabling custom processing of the resulting message-response correlation set. MX Response Reconciliation is implemented through BAM, Pipeline Components Encoder, Party Resolver, and the BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries.
Microsoft® BizTalk® FileAct and Interact Adapter for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 (SP1) includes FileAct and InterAct adapter enhancements to comply with SWIFTReady Financial EAI GOLD Certification requirements for 2007. This includes updates to the adapters to support interoperability with SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) and SWIFTAlliance Gateway (SAG) 6.0.
Specific enhancements include:
• Pull mode support for InterAct and FileAct SnF scenarios.
• FileAct Header changes for SNL 6.0.
• Added the RequestType field in FileAct Header as a configurable property.
• Added the ProductName and VendorName in the FileAct Header.
• InterAct Header changes for SNL 6.0.
• Added the RequestType field in InterAct Header as a configurable property.
• Added the ProductName and VendorName in the InterAct Header.
• New functionality to submit back the response in InterAct and FileAct SnF push mode.
• New functionality to monitor the SnF queue.
